Data, Dignity, and Dying: Informatics for End-of-Life Care in the Community
2025년 8월 9일(토), 『 Data, Dignity, and Dying: Informatics for End-of-Life Care in the Community 』을 주제로,
서울대학교 간호대학, 서울대학교 세계선도 휴먼케어 간호인재 교육연구단 BK 21, ANDA Lab, 국립타이완대학 간호학과가 공동 세미나를 개최하였습니다.
세미나는 ‘Application of informatics in research and practice’와 ‘Transitional Care: Homecare and End-of-Life Care in the Community’의 두 세션으로 구성되어,
인공지능과 자연어처리(NLP)를 활용한 맞춤형 생애말기 돌봄, 표준의료용어 도입, 원격의료와 가정간호, 완화의료 교육 및 연구에서의 정보기술 적용 등 다양한 최신 연구와 실무 사례가 공유되었습니다.
한국과 대만의 연구자 및 대학원생들이 적극적인 참여하여 심도 있는 논의와 활발한 의견 교환이 이루어졌으며, 많은 관심과 호응 속에 성황리에 마무리되었습니다.
이번 세미나를 계기로 향후 양국 간 활발한 협업과 지속적인 학문적 교류가 이어질 것으로 기대합니다.

On August 9, 2025, a joint seminar titled 『Data, Dignity, and Dying: Informatics for End-of-Life Care in the Community』was hosted by the College of Nursing at Seoul National University, the BK21 SNU Center for Human-Caring Nurse Leaders for the Future, ANDA Lab, and the School of Nursing at National Taiwan University.
The seminar comprised two sessions: “Application of Informatics in Research and Practice” and “Transitional Care: Homecare and End-of-Life Care in the Community.”
Presentations covered recent advances in research and practical applications, including personalized end-of-life care using artificial intelligence and natural language processing (NLP), the adoption of standardized medical terminology, telehealth and home health nursing, and the application of information technology in palliative care education and research.
Researchers and graduate students from Korea and Taiwan actively participated, engaging in in-depth discussions and lively exchanges of ideas. The seminar concluded successfully with strong interest and enthusiasm from attendees.
Building on this event, we look forward to fostering active collaboration and sustained academic exchange between the two countries.
